Our students absolutely love The Music Box, our custom built six-storey creative hub in Central London featuring recording studios and a fully licensed entertainment venue as well as classrooms, performance and practice rooms, Mac labs, piano rooms and soundproofed practice booths.

We already have a reputation for attracting, nurturing and producing switched on, industry ready talent. Our graduates are musicians, songwriters and producers working with the likes of George Ezra, Jalen Ngonda, & Jordan Rakei; artists in their own right such as Tom Walker, Annatoria, Joy Anonymous or Rhys Lewis and rising executives at leading music companies like Warner, Universal, Sony and Live Nation.

Position

We are seeking a Content & Live Events Promoter / Events Marketing Executive to manage and promote live events at the Music Box venue at the London College of Contemporary Music (LCCM). You will promote and attend events ensuring effective content creation and digital promotion to effectively promote and support programmed and ad-hoc events leading to increased public profile and awareness for the college and our events programming. Using smartphone or in-house video equipment you will be responsible for capturing and editing multimedia content from these events, tagged and stored in our content asset library for future use and distribution across social media, curriculum materials, and marketing campaigns. You will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to promoting upcoming events using social content and targeted marketing strategies to maximise event attendance and audience engagement.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for events
  • Capture and create high-quality content during and after events
  • Manage and organize event-related digital assets
  • Oversee event listings and coordinate social media distribution
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on event promotion
  • Track performance metrics and report on event success
Requirements
  • Good understanding of event management & promotion strategies across digital channels, including social media, email, and paid media.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
  • Knowledge of content production, including photography, videography, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Proficiency in capturing, editing, and distributing high-quality visual and written content across digital platforms.
  • Skilled in live social media coverage during events (Instagram Stories, Twitter threads, etc.)
  • Understanding of social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their role in event promotion.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with event teams and external partners.
  • Understanding of how to engage event audiences before, during, and after events, including knowledge of user behaviour and digital marketing trends.
