Bangor University is seeking to appoint a fixed term, part-time (50%FTE) Research Project Support Officer to the Public Health and Prevention Economics Research Group (PHERG) at the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME).
This post offers an excellent opportunity for career development and progression, with the successful candidate gaining experience in literature reviewing, analysing data from a variety of projects, and helping to write academic papers for publication. The research topics will include programme budgeting and marginal analysis (PBMA), social return on investment analysis, and support activities involved in economic analysis alongside clinical trials.
Applications are welcome from candidates with a Master's degree in economics, mathematics, psychology, social sciences, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have some knowledge of conducting economic evaluations, good interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for multidisciplinary research and be adept at working within project teams.
The post is available on a fixed-term period until 31st January 2026. An extension will depend on research funding awarded to the post holder and the research centre.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
