Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic RHS Trainer/Assessor to support the delivery of our Level 2 RHS practical skills program at the Broomfield Hall Campus. The Opportunity
You’ll assist the RHS Tutor in delivery of RHS Level 2 Practical skills, involving joint delivery with training and assessing. As part of the role, you’ll also support the preparation of resources and helping to organise plant identification.
There is the requirement to work Thursday evenings up to 9.15pm, with occasional Thursday afternoon shifts. You’ll also be working Friday mornings from 9am to 1pm, with some Friday afternoon shifts as well. This also includes four Saturdays for RHS exams.

About you
You’ll have hands-on horticulture experience and, preferably, experience of delivery in a college setting. You’ll have a passion for working with students and supporting their growth. A qualification of up to Level 3 in horticulture is required.
