This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
The People Programmes and Planning Team is responsible for scoping, planning and delivering programmes and projects which enable the timely achievement of our strategic aims. These programmes and projects involve significant collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across both the People and Culture Directorate (PCD) and the wider University.
The types of programmes and projects are varied and encompass the full range of people related activities designed to enhance organisational effectiveness.
The People Programmes and Planning Team also leads the governance of the PCD project portfolio ensuring that there is a clear view of planned and current activity and that this is scoped, delivered and managed in a consistent way.
Reporting to the Interim Head of People Programmes and Planning, you will have demonstrable expertise and professional credibility in managing change and scoping, planning and delivering large scale, complex programmes of work and projects.
You will have experience of collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, creating a culture of trust whilst providing professional support and challenge. You will also have the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and navigate a way forward, engaging and taking people with you.
