The Faculty of Divinity wishes to appoint an Outreach Officer who will be responsible for designing, directing and implementing an educational outreach programme for the Faculty with the aim of increasing the number of applicants to the Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion Tripos. An important part of the role of the post holder will be to raise awareness of the opportunities for studying Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion at Cambridge in schools. The person appointed will be responsible for an educational outreach programme directed at all potential applicants, whatever their educational or social background. The role holder will be an organised, efficient and accurate person with excellent interpersonal skills.
This post is available from 21 April 2025 and will be fixed term for 2 years. The working hours are part time, 15 hours per week during School Term, i.e. 39 weeks per year and the salary will be pro-rata. The appointee will be based in the Faculty of Divinity.
