St Antony’s College is home to seven regional study centres and plays a vital role in fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration; running a large number of term-time seminars and similar events.
Working as part of a small team, the Events Coordinator is instrumental in coordinating the College’s internal events – always taking a professional customer-focused approach to providing accommodation and rooms for seminars, conferences, and teaching, facilitating the engagement of faculty and students, and supporting the College’s mission of promoting scholarly excellence and cultural understanding. The Events Coordinator also supports the management of external bookings and events.
To be successful in your application, you will have relevant events management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of attention to detail. You will be able to work independently and have a hands-on, team focused approach, working calmly and effectively under pressure.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours, with occasional weekends, early starts, and late finishes required. Outstanding organisational skills and sympathy with the values, ethos, and objectives of a small collegiate institution would be advantageous.
