Director of Marketing, Communications and Recruitment

This role offers an exciting challenge as UCA moves into a new era, guided by a fresh University strategy and the ambition to be the sector’s leading specialist creative institution, recognised both within and beyond the HE sector as a leader in creative education and research.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, this role will provide effective, strategic and operational leadership to help us realise our ambitions and to continuously improve our global reputation and brand.  Our goal is for UCA to be the HE destination of choice for prospective students from all levels and backgrounds, and we will achieve this through impactful marketing campaigns, events, brand building activities, a strong digital presence and thought leadership pieces and communication.  More information can be found in the role profile here.

We are looking for a collaborative leader and strategic thinker, who is passionate about marketing, communications, and student recruitment in higher education.  The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of marketing and communications professionals to deliver student recruitment marketing, open days and applicant engagement, internal and external communications, corporate and stakeholder marketing, insights and research, brand and creative services, along with web and digital content.  You will be encouraged and supported to implement new creative ideas and innovations to ensure the success of your area.
