Background
This role will be pivotal in defining City’s enterprise security stance, ensuring that IT and Digital Services have robust risk management, threat detection, prevention and recovery processes by developing strategies for implementation aligned with industry best practice and evolving technology trends.
Responsibilities
The role holder will provide expert leadership and management on all IT Cybersecurity requirements, managing a team of two analysts, guiding the team’s operational execution of cyber protection strategies.
Person Specification
We are seeking an inspirational and people focused leader with extensive cyber security management experience, handling security incidents with a strong understanding of managing cybersecurity events in a large-scale environment.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of sector, national and cyber challenges is required; as well as application and web security, identity and access management and endpoint security.
Additionally, strong stakeholder management, outstanding communication, financial management, planning, and delivery skills are required.
