The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Curriculum Data Manager to lead our Curriculum Data Team. This post is situated within the University’s central Academic Registry. This role will have specific responsibility for building and maintaining the academic curriculum in the student records system and ensuring data integrity in the related systems.

The post holder is required to liaise with stakeholders across the University to ensure accurate, timely curriculum data management and establish good practice in this business area. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of academic curriculum management gained from working in higher or further education institutions. Solid experience in curriculum data and an understanding of academic programme delivery are beneficial. In addition, well-developed leadership skills, creative and proactive problem-solving, excellent communication skills and a logical approach to applying rules consistently are all essential. This is a busy role at a period of exciting growth for the university, and the ability to manage several streams of activity across the team simultaneously is a must. 

The key activities of the role are:

  • Lead and manage the Curriculum Data Officers, including setting workload and deadlines
  • Liaising with Academic Office to collate and publish curriculum information
  • Liaising with technical colleagues and the SRS Project team to ensure key milestones are achieved and issues dealt with in a timely manner
  • Manage and maintain published data and ensure accuracy and timeliness as it relates to other university processes
  • Contribute to the curriculum build, as well continuous improvement related to other systems and process improvements

This role is for you if you can successfully organise and manage competing priorities, can use your professional judgement to help triage enquiries, and are confident handling and manipulating large data sets. Effective leadership and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues is essential.
