About the role:
Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, funded by a Leverhulme Trust grant on “Optimality of cellular resource allocation in a model Eukaryote”.
What you would be doing:
The successful candidate will work closely at the interface of mathematics and biology with Prof Vahid Shahrezaei, Prof Peter Swain (University of Edinburgh) and their experimental postdoc on mathematical modelling of resource allocation in yeast. Knowledge of biophysics, systems biology, data-driven modelling or related areas will be required.

The expected start date is 1 April of 2025 or as soon as possible after that.
*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range, £43,003 - £46,297 per annum.
