We are seeking an experienced admissions specialist to join the University's Admissions Management team, based in the Academic Registry.
The Admissions service handles a large volume of undergraduate and postgraduate applications every year, as well as managing a number of key events in the cycle, including confirmation and clearing. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical admissions knowledge with your experience of managing or supervising people to make a difference to the experience of the University's applicants.
The Deputy Head of Admissions leads the operational delivery of the University’s admissions service, ensuring excellent customer service for applicants to Brighton’s diverse portfolio of courses. Closely supported by the Head of Admissions, the Deputy Head leads on allocating work across the service, with a focus on ensuring admissions colleagues are trained on the latest policies and practices.
A confident and credible communicator, you will be comfortable developing collaborative and constructive relationships with academic leaders and admissions contacts in the University’s academic Schools, and for working with a range of external partners, for example the University’s international college provider.
