The post will be based at The Shard, which is at the heart of the London Bridge Quarter neighbourhood, one of London’s most vibrant districts. However, the successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally to the University in the Midlands.

The successful candidates will also be required to work evenings and shifts, including weekends, to meet customer needs.

About You
We are seeking to appoint a Programmes Manager on a full-time, permanent basis with experience of providing front line support to students and managing and organising course delivery. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in establishing our taught programmes at the Shard and ensuring an excellent service experience for students.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Significant appropriate programme management and student support experience gained within a complex organisation structure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle student enquiries and concerns in a friendly, calm and approachable manner.
  • Proven organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Empathy with customers’ needs and who always puts their customers first.
  • Leadership skills with ability of drive efficiency and change.

Previous experience working in off-site position would be advantageous.

In this post you will be involved in varied and interesting taught programmes, and will have the opportunity to have hands-on responsibility managing and supporting the taught programmes at WBS London base.
