The University of Gloucestershire is seeking to appoint a Director of Commercial and Transformation (C&T) on an 18-month FTC contract. We are happy to consider applications on a 0.8 or 1 FTE.

The Director of C&T will be central to this purpose, bringing together our staff and students needs as well building relationships with the wider community in Gloucestershire and beyond.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for leading our commercial and transformation strategy that will utilise resources, increase income generation and drive forward change for the university. There will be a specific focus on leading a programme of work that that will look to commercialise parts of the University Estate, therefore someone with a background of commercial property development or asset disposals would be beneficial. You will also have a desire for change and experience of bring teams together to work together for the greater good.
The postholder will be a member of the University Leadership Group and will work with the Head of Commercial & Procurement and Head of PMO and be responsible for creating a supportive and open environment that encourages new ideas, and challenges traditional assumptions.
