About the Job
This role supports UEL’s commitment to internationalising the curriculum, ensuring that every student has access to global learning experiences. The post-holder will lead initiatives like the Turing Scheme, manage relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, develop and manage processes. Working closely with UEL’s academic and professional services teams, the role will ensure alignment with the university’s broader goals, including employability, retention, and recruitment.
The Head of Global Experiences (Study Abroad) will collaborate with UEL academic partners, manage strategic global relationships, and lead processes that foster international collaboration and academic excellence throughout global experiences. The role also involves the continuous development and improvement of systems to streamline operations, ensure an outstanding student experience.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Head of Global Experiences (Study Abroad) to lead UEL’s Study Abroad and student exchange programmes. You will develop strategies to expand global learning opportunities, like applying for and realising the Turing Scheme, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and developing and managing processes. This role is central to supporting UEL’s internationalisation goals, enhancing the student experience, and aligning global initiatives with the university's strategic objectives.
