About the Department:

The Lecturer in Psychology job role sits in the School of Psychology which is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology. Our academic team has a diverse range of experiences from working in academia, as practitioners and working in industry. The focus for our Lecturers in Psychology is on developing students in both discipline knowledge and applied skills to make them employer ready when they graduate from us.

About the Opportunity:

This role of Lecturer in Psychology will be reporting into one of our Senior Lecturers in Psychology and be based out of our Holborn and Tower Hill campuses. As a Lecturer in Psychology you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures both face-to-face and online for our blended and distance learning students.
  • Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.
  • Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.
  • Lead or support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students.
  • Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.

** you will be campus based for up to 4 days a week to suit the student timetable.

About You

This role of Lecturer in Psychology will be reporting into one of our Senior Lecturers in Psychology. You will:

  • Have AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or be willing to achieve it within 12-18 months.
