Project Coordinator

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. The post-holder will be responsible for providing efficient administrative, logistical and financial support from set up to closure for a portfolio of research projects which may have multiple overseas collaborators or complex funder requirements within the Department of Infection Biology, including to Professor Serge Mostowy and Professor Jose Bengoechea. 

The successful candidate will have higher education to degree level or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience, with evidence of continuous professional development. They will have substantial relevant experience of providing proactive administrative support in Higher Education (or similar environment) and significant experience of providing administrative/financial support for research projects. The post is full-time and fixed term until 31 March 2027. The post is funded by the School and is available from 01 April 2025.

The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,182 - £44,847 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
