An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the interdisciplinary Childhood, Youth and Families subject area. We are specifically looking for someone with an academic and practice background in early childhood. The post will involve contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including, Early Childhood Studies and Working with Children, Young People and Families. You will teach students in person and online, work some Saturdays, undertake twilight teaching, engage in partnership and international work, research and enterprise development.

About you
We are looking for someone who is focused on providing high quality research informed teaching and learning opportunities for a diverse range of students, either face to face or online. A good understanding of early childhood and working with families is important. You need to be committed to your own professional development, flexible, responsive to change, have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as a member of different teams. A high standard of oral and written communication skills is essential. Good IT skills, knowledge of digital learning, the ability to manage competing demands, work to deadlines and travel are essential. Evidence of working in virtual environments and leading in a Higher Education context and will be beneficial and supervising Level 7 students will be beneficial.
