University of Glasgow Widening Participation and Lifelong learning are seeking an experienced intermediate creative writing tutor in novel, short story, life writing and poetry form for adult open lifelong learning courses. This role will deliver primarily online to diverse beginner and intermediate learners, with occasionally in-person training and potentially one-off in-person teaching events by agreement. Courses are delivered year-round at SCQF 7 / level 1 / first year and SCQF 8 / level 1 / second year university level and can involve weekend and evenings.
The post holder will assist the Widening Participation & Lifelong Learning (WP&LLL) team in taking forward the portfolio of Access and / or Open Learning courses. To effectively and efficiently undertake a range of duties associated with teaching, assessment and associated administration to contribute to meeting learning and teaching objectives in Lifelong Learning.
