This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, experienced individual to lead the operational delivery of the postgraduate research PhD funded opportunities (studentships) for a variety of sponsors, including UK Research & Innovation and International partnerships. You will provide a responsive, effective and efficient service to meet and exceed the expectations of applicants and client Faculties within the University and in pursuit of the of the University’s Internationalisation Strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise own workload and oversee the organisation of others. Strong preference will be given to those who have prior experience of managing people and processes. Ideally, we would prefer someone who has an experience of large database systems and the ability to follow a complex set of procedures. An understanding of admissions processes, with some knowledge of either UK or international qualifications would be an advantage. In addition, you will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and applicants.
