Are you a senior marketing professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic inhouse marketing team? If you are interested in working for an organisation who truly has an impact on the world we live in, then we can't wait to hear from you!
At the Institute of Continuing Education, we are looking to appoint a Marketing Manager who shares our commitment to supporting adults to learn at every stage of their life.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record in a broad range of marketing communications and who can work with the Head of Marketing to design the marketing and communications plan to increase student numbers, raise awareness and enhance the reputation of the Institute. Candidates must have strong organisational skills, experience in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels and be an exceptional team leader.
Continuing education is currently one of the most exciting, prominent, and fastest moving fields in UK-based and global higher education. The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) is an established leader in the field, tracing its roots back to 1873.
We deliver high quality and distinctive educational programmes for adult learners, predominantly studying on a part-time basis, for either personal enrichment or professional development. We are a warm and supportive team who are passionate about what we do. You will find it a welcoming place to work!
The role sits within the Institute's External Engagement Division, which includes the marketing, student recruitment and admissions functions. This position is based at Madingley Hall, just outside Cambridge. We practice a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week. These arrangements are subject to change and will not form part of the terms and conditions of employment.
Informal enquiries are encouraged and can be made to Alice Bream, Head of Marketing, alice.bream@ice.cam.ac.uk.

Please apply by uploading a copy of your CV and a covering letter including examples of previous work (links where relevant) in your cover letter, with emphasis on your experience in campaign management, events and digital communications.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 9 February 2025. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 19 February 2025 at Madingley Hall.
