This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Data Systems Analyst graduate to fast-track their career development as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate. The successful candidate will undertake a 18-month collaborative project between ADDvanced Solutions Community Network CIC (ASCN) and The University of Salford. This post is a dynamic role that will lead a unique innovation project aiming to develop data analytics and system architectures for a novel bespoke system to measure and analyse key outcomes, to enable large-scale data interrogation.

ASCN is a Community Interest Company that was established out of need in 2012. Built on consultation and co-production with neurodiverse families, ASCN addresses an underserved gap in the market, offering support for neurodivergent children, young people and their families, at risk of poor life outcomes due their neurodivergence and lack of societal understanding.

The position will be based at ASCN’s premises in Business First Centre, 23 Goodlass Road, Speke, L24 9HJ, Liverpool with occasional travel to neighbouring regions. The associate will also be required to travel to The University of Salford from time to time. In addition, you will gain experience in engaging with colleagues and stakeholders from across the entire organisation and beyond. This experience will uniquely position the candidate to have unique wide-ranging knowledge and experience, as well as responsibility and accountability for a project of strategic importance to ASCN.

What will you be doing?

The focus will be to develop and implement a bespoke suite of evidence-based outcome measures, as well as building integrated analytical pathways. Within this role the candidate will have the potential to influence change and have meaningful impact through the successful delivery of this project.

Who are we looking for?

We would encourage applications from individuals who have a genuine interest in neurodiversity and being a part of a team committed to the development of an offer to meet the needs of neurodiverse children, young people and families.

Ideal candidates will possess a 2.1 minimum degree (BSc) in Data systems analysis/similar/equivalent professional experience. Skills in developing analysis and system architecture, high level understanding of multi-level data analytics. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.

Additional added benefits

To facilitate professional development the successful candidate will receive extensive practical and formal training, gain highly desirable specialist business skills, broaden knowledge and expertise within an industrially relevant project, and gain valuable experience from their industry and academic mentors. The KTP Associate will also benefit from a Personal Development Budget of £3,000 (over and above their salary) and may have the opportunity to register free of charge for a further higher degree MPhil/PhD.
