The Faculty of Law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK LAW) is among the most dynamic and accomplished law schools in Asia. Since welcoming its inaugural cohort in 2006, CUHK LAW’s achievements in research and education have been internationally recognized. This recognition is further reflected in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (2020) conducted by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee, where CUHK LAW’s research strength was underscored by an impressive 83% of its research activities being rated as “world-leading” (4*) or “internationally significant” (3*). With a strong global outlook, our academic staff represent nearly twenty jurisdictions through their origins or training.

CUHK LAW is now inviting applications for appointment as Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. Highly qualified candidates with research or teaching expertise beyond these areas are also encouraged to apply. CUHK LAW appreciates scholarship that embraces diverse methodologies, including interdisciplinary approaches.

Applicants interested in discussing the openings informally are invited to contact the Faculty Dean at deanoflaw@cuhk.edu.hk

CUHK offers an internationally competitive salary in addition to annual leave, medical and other benefits.
