Would you like to bridge the gap between academic research and its application?
We invite applications for an exciting opportunity to work with Professor Sir Shankar Balasubramanian to translate academic discoveries into workable technologies with real world applications. Research within the group has previously led to the founding of 3 spin-out companies that include Solexa Ltd. and Cambridge Epigenetix Ltd. We are building a team to focus on pre-commercial development of technologies discovered by the group and are looking to appoint a chemist/chemical biologist/molecular biologist to join it. The research will involve nucleic acids chemistry and enzymology, protein-DNA interactions, epigenetics, chromatin structure and transcription.
