The Staff Administrator will work as part of the UAL Short Courses Ltd team to coordinate and process the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, payroll and administration of Short Course Tutors, Teachers and other hourly paid posts, ensuring the process is a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
This role will oversee the initial recruitment and onboarding of hourly paid lecturers and hourly paid support staff, ensuring that all new starters meet the necessary criteria for employment and are set up on required systems to be contracted and paid within agreed guidelines and deadlines.
About you
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of working in a Payroll/HR environment, working to tight deadlines and be familiar with processes, policies, and procedures.
They will have excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail. They will have intermediate IT Skills to enable the best use of available information and communications for the post to maintain effective reporting and monitoring procedures and systems.
They will demonstrate strong communication skills and keep the appropriate managers and stakeholders informed and provide a positive responsive customer service.
Interviews are scheduled to take place on the 4 February.
