We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Film Production in the Faculty of Education and the Arts and in the School of Creative Performance and Production at the University of Winchester.
The post holder will be responsible for teaching a broad range of Film Production modules, with an emphasis on dramatised content, alongside audio-visual production skills in contemporary film and high-end television practices.
We are particularly keen to employ an individual who comes from an industry background, specifically in the areas of directing and cinematography for fictional drama production for film and/or high-end television. The successful applicant will teach across a range of subjects in this area, supervise projects, support the ongoing development of provision, and undertake organisational and administrative responsibilities at project, module and programme levels.
The successful applicant will also have opportunities to contribute to the Faculty’s research and knowledge exchange environment, including potential income generation activities, and will support student recruitment and public engagement events.
The anticipated start date for this position will be June 2025.
