The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is seeking a dedicated Engage Coordinator to join its dynamic Junior Programmes department. The College is looking for a proactive, organised administrator who enjoys working effectively with young people, parents and staff. Candidates should have prior experience in an administrative support role and working with young people.

As a crucial member of the team, the Engage Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. This varied role will include communications with participants and parents, session logistics, and maintaining effective records. Collaboration with various RNCM departments, including Operations and Marketing, is integral to this role. Thy will serve as the first point of contact for staff, parents, and students, ensuring smooth operations of programme events.
Liaising with the RNCM West Cumbria team both at the RNCM and in Cumbria, the role-holder will employ excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure key information is disseminated, necessary data is collected, and logistics are in place to enable the programme of activities to operate smoothly.
The role-holder will process data, communicate with partners, which may include schools, organisations, and colleagues from Cumbria, and carry tasks related to the delivery of activities within RNCM, such as process DBS checks.
In addition, the role-holder will provide administrative and coordination support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, for safeguarding across RNCM Engage programmes and the wider College.
This role is a three and a half year fixed-term contract based at the RNCM and is suitable for blended working. Although supporting the work in Cumbria, and there may be occasional visits, it is not expected that the role-holder will need to routinely travel to Cumbria for work.
