We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.
The Quality and Enhancement team is the central focus for the governance and management of academic quality assurance within KOL. The team provides support, advice and guidance in relation to a range of quality assurance processes including academic regulations, Board of Examiners procedures, academic integrity, programme validations, course variations and periodic reviews.
The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for providing a professional support service to all colleagues at Kaplan Open Learning (KOL); including responsibility for co-ordination and maintenance of the quality assurance processes and frameworks for our partner Universities.
You will have a strong administrative background and will have worked in an environment where you were required to follow complex administrative, regulatory processes. The role includes working with a variety of teams to provide high-quality advice and guidance in relation to quality assurance procedures and to help embed a culture of quality across KOL.

What you’ll bring to the role
Essential
A first degree or experience of writing, interpreting and explaining complex policies and procedures.
Experience of quality assurance procedures in UK higher education, for example programme validation and periodic review.
Ability to communicate with staff at all levels to provide advice and guidance on quality assurance policies and procedures.
Experience of servicing formal Boards and Committees
Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with staff at all levels.
Excellent IT skills, primarily Word, Excel, Powerpoint and online meeting software such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Desirable
Experience of working with the OfS or QAA.
Experience of problem solving in an educational environment
