The MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit is seeking a part time Project Manager to lead on the co-ordination, administration and delivery of a large-scale £4.3m multi-site Wellcome-funded project. 

This project extends across multiple organisations, including the Universities of Liverpool and Cambridge, Alder Hey Children's Hospital, The Sanger Institute and Liverpool Women's Hospital, and we require a senior role to manage all administrative aspects of this project, and its collaborations. 

The role will sit within the 4D Lab (Child Development | 4D Research Group | Cambridge) which is based at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit and Department of Psychiatry. 

The successful applicant will have excellent communications skills, dealing with a wide range of people including scientists, academics, support staff, students and funders and people with lived experiences of anxiety. The role will involve a wide variety of tasks including representing the research team across multiple sites, coordinating lab resources and events, secretarial support and managing the budget of this particular funding. 

This is a great opportunity for an individual, with appropriate project management experience, to work on their own initiative and balance a busy workload, enabling the research group to best achieve their aims. Full details can be found in the further particulars below. 

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 78 months in the first instance.
