Harrow College is a highly successful Further Education College with an excellent reputation for providing a wide range of support for students. We are seeking an experienced and pro-active individual who will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Education Health and Care Needs assessment process, including the consultation and annual review of the EHCP for individual learners, and the active development of partnership working with parents, practitioners and young people. You will also be the contact point for parents, young people and SEND Caseworkers across our partner boroughs, and will organise and attend meetings where required around EHC planning and transition requirements.
You will need to have a good standard of education, with good knowledge of the Children and Families Act and the SEN and Disability Code of practice 0-25 years and associated regulations. Together with your experience of creating, monitoring and adapating action plans, you will have experience of working with external professionals (such as Local Authorities and Schools) and of chairing Annual Reviews and completing paperwork for these. You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and a confident user of Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
