The WMG SME Group has an opportunity for a Principal Engineer to join their dynamic team to lead in delivery of innovation support activities with the mission of “making more in the UK”.
You will provide broad ranging thought leadership for the successful and timely delivery of project impact. You will have significant industrial experience and be a confident communicator with the ability to confidently analyse and solve complex problems with multiple stakeholders.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and motivate successful teams, fostering collaboration and managing individuals who are technical experts in other disciplines. They will be proactive and committed to achieving successful outcomes. You will also possess a good honours degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent in an engineering/scientific discipline, and ideally hold a postgraduate qualification, together with a serious appetite to engage in project delivery.
