Overview of the Role
Faculty of Medicine and Health
Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine
We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Can you provide technical support to research projects? Do you have a strong interest in cardiovascular research and a working knowledge of biological sample processing and management?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 80 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
Our mission is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals with the dual burden of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to form part of a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and fundamental scientists. Your role in this study would be to collect and process patient tissue samples, and be responsible for storage and tracking of these samples. You are also expected to participate in the effort of generating data through experimental analyses of these samples.
