Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield   

We are seeking a motivated individual to join the international recruitment team within the International Office. The Regional Customer Success Manager - South Asia will be operationally responsible for delivering the University's corporate international agenda within the region, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will contribute to achieving the University’s ambitious plans for international recruitment and global engagement. 

Main duties and responsibilities

Key duties include the responsibility for setting the sales targets for the region, including defining targets for overseas offices and recruitment channels within the prescribed region and the responsibility for the management of the annual regional budget, providing reporting on an ongoing basis to the Head of International Recruitment and Finance. You will be Responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the University’s international strategy within the region and provide strategic planning and leadership to the regional team, with ultimate accountability for achievement of agreed sales targets for the region. You will work across the University, and the different function of the marketing department to develop an integrated regional marketing strategy that ensures the full range of recruitment models and channels are developed across and within the region to maximise sales performance and reduce risk. 

Skills and experience required

You will have a proven track record of successfully working in a comparable role and have a track record of achieving relevant sales targets. Substantial relevant administrative experience, ideally in international admissions is essential for this role as is experience of speaking to foreign nationals on the phone and via email communications for extended periods of time. You will have excellent organisational and IT skills and be personable with excellent written and oral communication skills. 

You should be committed to providing a high-quality service and be a strong negotiator with the ability to work and build relationships with people from a range of environments, cultures and backgrounds. The ability to speak a relevant second language would all be advantageous as is proven knowledge of the issues surrounding international student recruitment in South Asia.

Qualifications required

You must be educated with a minimum of a Degree or equivalent, or proven experience.
