Business Development Manager

The School of Law and Policing is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving forward the School’s growth and engagement strategies.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the School’s portfolio, including apprenticeships, student recruitment, knowledge exchange, and CPD programmes.
• Manage alumni relations and strengthen stakeholder engagement to build lasting partnerships.
• Lead on strategic business development initiatives, ensuring impactful outcomes for the School.
• Work collaboratively across the University to deliver results that align with our strategic objectives.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

• A good honours degree (or equivalent experiential learning).
• Proven expertise in business development, ideally within the education sector or a related field.
• Experience engaging with business networks and cultivating strong partnerships.
• Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A creative and forward-thinking approach to identifying income-generating opportunities.
• The ability to manage workloads effectively, work to plan, and achieve set targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and engage audiences.
