The School of Society, Community and Health within the Faculty of Health and Social Science is looking to appoint a lecturer or senior lecturer in Paramedic Science to support our growing undergraduate provision. This is an exciting time to join our developing School to work in partnership with education leads and practice partners across a range of stakeholder settings.
We are seeking a personable, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our team. You will be a qualified Paramedic, educated to Masters degree level or with equivalent experience and registered with the HCPC. You will have substantial experience of working as a paramedic in the UK along with experience of teaching paramedic science students in higher education and/or practice settings. You will be a keen team player and committed to providing an excellent learner experience. Your ability to build strong positive professional working relationships with learners, colleagues and employer partners will be important.
This post represents an exciting opportunity to be involved in the delivery of our Paramedic Science Apprenticeship provision. You will draw on your subject knowledge, experience and expertise to work with colleagues in devising and delivering an innovative curriculum to equip our learners for the future of Paramedic Science Practice. In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking passionate team in a richly diverse environment.
