Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this is a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking, financial expertise and business insight to influence the future of our organisation.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership, including Programme Directors and Business Development Directors, providing expert financial analysis and strategic advice. You will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, driving improvements in financial performance and ensuring that key financial targets are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior management to develop budgets, monitor performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide commercial and financial advice for evaluating new courses and negotiating joint venture agreements.
- Develop financial plans to ensure sustainability and identify potential risks.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborating with budget holders to ensure understanding and ownership of financial targets.
- Produce monthly management accounts with commentary on variances, trends and strategic insights.
You will hold or be progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification, with proven experience in finance business partnering or management accounting, including financial planning and analysis. You will demonstrate advanced IT and Excel skills, with a strong track record of leveraging accounting systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Commercial acumen, project accounting expertise and experience introducing processes to enhance performance are essential.
