Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Synthesis and Catalysis - Grade 7

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position in “organic synthesis and catalysis” is available in the group of Professor John Bower. 

You should have a PhD in organic chemistry and previous postdoctoral experience. You should have high level skills in the following areas: transition metal catalysis mediated by iridium complexes, including asymmetric catalysis, the development of atom economical methodology, the development of enantioselective C-H functionalisation reactions. You should have a strong publication record, including, for example, publications in *J. Am. Chem. Soc.* 

The start date is from 1st of February 2025 and is available for 12 months.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30.  Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
