About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact Beck Taylor (Clinical Associate Professor) at beck.taylor@warwick.ac.uk.
This is an exciting opportunity for two talented and highly motivated, early post-doctorate mixed methods research fellows, interested in health services research, to undertake important, impactful research aimed at improving public health, with a focus on women’s health.
The role involves working collaboratively with researchers, the public and professionals across our region and beyond, to develop, deliver and disseminate impactful research to tackle health inequalities.
You will join a large, multi-disciplinary team of academics and clinicians with a range of interests and expertise.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The role is ideal for two enthusiastic, early post-doctorate researchers, ambitious to learn, gain experience and consolidate skills. The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with the public and professionals will be important. You will have existing skills in quantitative and qualitative research, and a desire to develop them further within the context of a supportive team.
For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.
If you are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD but have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant at the top of level 5 of the University grade structure. Upon receipt of evidence of the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure.
