We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our friendly team and manage the operations of the Rosenblatt swimming pool and surrounding sports complex.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced leisure manager to join the Sports Department team as the Assistant General Manager (Operations) working closely with our General Manager throughout the entire sports complex at our Iffley Road site.
As a member of operational management staff, you will manage the day-to-day operations of all facilities along with our operational staff. You will oversee the maintenance of the swimming pool along with ensuring all staff training is delivered and maintained. Working with the Duty Manager Team to provide the best service possible to all our users will be your main focus along with supporting the General Manager with all future planning.
The post is full-time working an average of 36.5 hours per week on a well-balanced 2-week shift rota which includes short Saturday and Sunday shifts on alternate weekends.
About You
You will need to hold a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), Pool Plant Operators Qualification (PPO), either have or be willing to become a RLSS Trainer Assessor (TA) along with experience in managing within a leisure/sports environment.
Owing to the nature of this position, offers of employment with the University will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
