CASE Europe is seeking a Director of Membership and Engagement, a new senior position that will shape and implement strategies to ensure we meet the needs of the c.300 member institutions we serve, including schools, universities and research organisations, and to attract others to join CASE’s global community.

If you hold experience of leading fundraising, alumni relations, communications or marketing activities, ideally in an educational institution, and are driven to support professionals in these disciplines to thrive, you will find a rewarding opportunity awaits.

You will forge and develop peer networks, spearhead new activities to engage our members, and connect with institutions across Europe that could benefit from CASE membership. You will oversee our talent development programmes and work with inspiring volunteers from across the sector, who are committed to CASE’s mission and to extending our reach and influence.

Compensation: £58,000 p/a

The position will be based in the CASE Europe office located close to London Liverpool Street. All CASE staff are required to work in the office for at least three days per week

Core functions

The post will include responsibilities for the following:

  • Membership growth strategy
  • Member engagement
  • Volunteer engagement
  • Budget management

Position requirements

  • Experience managing at least one of the advancement disciplines (alumni relations, communications, marketing, fundraising, or advancement services) and a clear desire to understand the needs of others.
  • Experience in managing key stakeholder relationships, with the gravitas and skill to win over hearts and minds.
  • Experience working with, managing and stewarding members and/or volunteers.
