Project details
Research has shown that the application of AI in Human Resource Management (HRM) can streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and improve overall organisational efficiency. However, there is a lack of systematic investigation into the long-term impact of AI on employee experience and wellbeing. Most existing studies focus on short-term outcomes, overlooking the dynamic and evolving nature of employee perceptions and wellbeing over time.
This PhD project aims to address this gap by providing a longitudinal perspective on how AI in HRM affects employees' experiences and wellbeing. Building upon existing literature, the research aligns with the growing emphasis on employee wellbeing as a critical factor in organisational success. The study will adopt a longitudinal research design, collecting data in three waves and using instruments developed from validated measures.
The ideal candidate will hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in work psychology, business studies, or related fields. A strong knowledge of statistical analysis using software such as SPSS, MPlus, Stata or similar is essential, along with experience in conducting surveys. This project offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an emerging and impactful area of research.
