We are seeking a clinically qualified, CCT approved infectious diseases physician and/or medical microbiologist to work with us on our ambitious research programmes related to antimicrobial resistance.
You will join a large academically excellent team with active research programmes in antimicrobial pharmacology, clinical infection research and data sciences as they pertain to AMR.
We expect you to demonstrate you can function effectively in complex environments, can work independently, can contribute to the functioning of a large team and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Programs of collaborative research between the NHS and the University of Liverpool that are innovative and are of economic benefit are especially welcome.
The post is available on a fixed term basis for 4 years.
Interviews for this role will be held during January 2025
Although the university has a hybrid working system, the expectation is that the successful applicant appointed to this role will be expected to work more than 60% on campus.
