It is an exciting time to join Warwick as the University has recently invested into our Research & Impact Services, enabling us to expand and grow our team. The Assistant Director (Head of Research Impact) will lead this newly structured and expanded research impact team to deliver impact initiatives across our research community.

In addition, the Assistant Director (Head of Research Impact) will play an instrumental role in enabling researchers to deliver impact from their research and will develop and lead on initiatives that enhances and drives forward a culture of impact across the university.

The post holder will lead a team of 12 research impact support specialists and will provide advice and guidance on matters relating to research impact, engaging with colleagues and stakeholders across all Faculties.

The role holder will also be a member of the R&IS Senior Leadership team making an important contribution to the overall leadership of the department.

Situated in Research & Impact Services, the successful candidate will join a friendly and welcoming department, and benefit from a culture of continual professional development. The role will appeal to those with experience of working within a research support environment in higher education and leading a team of specialist practitioners.
