Project details
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping workplaces, but how does it impact the people who are at the heart of organisations? What are the implications for firms' financial decisions and overall performance? This project aims to examine the relationship between AI investments and employee satisfaction from a financial perspective.
Using data from employee reviews, the research will analyse how the adoption of AI technologies affects employees' perceptions of their work environment, focusing on factors such as work-life balance, compensation, management quality, and career opportunities. Through advanced textual analysis of job descriptions and resumes, the study will identify AI-related roles and track changes in firms' AI investments.
The goal is to provide actionable insights for organizations seeking to adopt AI technologies responsibly, balancing efficiency and productivity with sound financial decision-making while safeguarding employee well-being. This research offers an exciting opportunity for those interested in the intersection of AI and firm behaviour in accounting and finance to contribute to a vital and growing field of study.
