Overview:
General Invigilators are required to ensure that the examination timetable runs smoothly and that UoR’s examination procedures are always strictly adhered to, and in all venues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an invigilator you will have a key role in supporting the exams process. Main duties and responsibilities are;
Hours/availability:
Examinations vary in length from 1 hour to 3.5 hours and run Monday – Friday with some exams taking place on a Saturday.
Work start times are 8.25am for morning exams and 1.25pm for afternoon exams and you be needed until the exam ends and all papers are collected. Most examinations are completed by 6pm.
2024-25 Exam Dates:
Semester 1 exams will be 20th January - 7th February 2025 (inclusive)
Semester 2 exams will be 26th May – 13th June 2025 (inclusive)
Resit exams will be 22nd August – 5th September 2025 (inclusive)
Mandatory Training:
Mandatory training will take place on Wednesday 15th January 2025
Location:
Examination venues are on the London Road and the Whiteknights campuses. Both campuses have car parks and both are accessible by public transport.
