We are currently looking for a Senior International Officer to join our International Recruitment Team, to support the delivery of the University Internationalisation and Student Recruitment strategies, supporting the student journey both in Edinburgh and in conjunction with our partners around the world.
The International Recruitment team’s focus is on the promotion of the University overseas and the delivery of the International Recruitment Strategy across eight regions: Africa, Americas and Caribbean, Asia Pacific and Oceania, China, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South Asia and Southeast Asia.
The department works closely with many stakeholders to drive student recruitment from target markets across all levels of study.

The role
The Senior International Officer will have a specific focus on the Americas & Europe region and will work with an International Partnership Manager as part of a regional team to deliver international student recruitment targets across a number of geographic regions.
The Senior International Officer will represent the University overseas, develop and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders important to the recruitment process, including education agents, partner institutions, high schools and government agencies.
The Senior International Officer will also lead on various projects across the team and may act as a team lead on wider Directorate and University projects as required.
