This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for up to 1 year.
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by undertaking a range of teaching, assessment and administrative duties, particularly in relation to the Economic and Social History undergraduate programme and the Global Economy MSc programme, including core research methods training and dissertation supervision, as requested by the subject lead of Economic and Social History, in order to contribute to learning and teaching objectives in the School of Social and Political Sciences.
A key part of this role will be the ability to contribute to an Honours course on British Economic Policy, 1945 – 51 (ESH 4013) therefore the successful candidate will have expertise relevant to or experience teaching post-war British economic history. As the role is on the Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track, the post-holder will also have 20% of their work allocation for scholarship and/or pedagogy development.
