This is an exciting opportunity to join the department of Psychiatry, part of the School of Clinical Medicine as Level 3 Finance Apprentice.
The department's Core Professional Services team provide specialist support to those within the department in the areas of finance, HR and education.
The post-holder will play a key part in the day-to-day processes of the finance team working to provide timely, accurate and professional administrative support to a range of groups and projects. Based within the Core Financial Team and with the support of these key members of staff, the post-holder will provide financial support to staff, students, visitors and research participants based in the department. The role will also involve liaison with others both within and external to the University as required to undertake the responsibilities of the role.
The Apprentice will undertake study of the AAT Level 3 qualification, while learning about the various Accounting functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. They will also provide support in assisting with research grant financial processes and reporting
Becoming an apprentice at the University of Cambridge is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and training. You will learn on the job by working with an experienced professional service team and have allocation study time to complete course work.
About you:
