About us
The mission of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy is to transform the lives of people living with epilepsy for the better by identifying, understanding and correcting or preventing the underlying mechanisms leading to the epilepsies and associated comorbidities in each individual person. Our vision is to build upon the excellence and breadth of our research, seamlessly integrating basic and clinical science.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Fellow to join a dynamic clinical research group led by Professor Sanjay Sisodiya to advance research into the impacts of climate change on neurological conditions, especially epilepsy, using a combination of methods and actions, in collaboration with other disciplines and with national and international initiatives.
An honorary contract will be sought from UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, for which a DBS check will be required.
The role is available immediately funded by the Epilepsy Society until 31 October 2027 in the first instance.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% of time on site.
