An individual is required to join the Boehringer Ingelheim team in the Department of Medway Sciences and the wider Faculty of Science on a full time basis for 12 months to engage in academic research into analysis, solubility and performance of veterinary systems. A solid theoretical background and proven experimental ability to design and undertake multi-disciplinary research within a formulation, analysis and biopharmaceutical arena, in particular the use of analytical and solubility/dissolution methodologies as applied to human and animal health is desirable. Experience within a pharmaceutical industrial setting would be an advantage.
The selected candidate will have a current track record of publication and research success in a cognate area of biochemistry or pharmaceutical Science. He or she will undertake research within an interdisciplinary Faculty environment and be actively engaged in enterprise activities. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry, Biosciences or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
