Soft FM Services are responsible for cleaning and portering services to the university’s academic, administrative, and residential estate. Soft FM facilitates all university key events, such as graduation and open days and ensures areas are prepared for other events such as receptions and summer conferences.
Duties of the Role
Soft FM Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our busy team
During term time our Housekeepers provide cleaning services within student accommodation, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal areas. We provide a hotel style service for conference guests, during term time and summer months. We have a range of accommodation types, including shared facilities, en-suite and self-contained.
Appointment to this post will be made on a part-time (24 hours per week) permanent basis to be worked as required within the working operational window (05.30am – 8.00pm, 5 days in 7 days). The current working pattern is 09.00am – 2:00pm Monday to Thursday and 09:00am – 1:00pm Fridays. However, in the interests of working efficiency the University may from time-to-time review current working patterns. Changes to working patterns resulting from this will be subject to a minimum of 21 calendar days’ notice.
